FAQs
What should I do if I can’t attend a confirmed class?
If you notify us at least 24 hours before your scheduled class, we’ll be happy to reschedule it for you.
We always try to accommodate changes within the same week if both you and your teacher are available, though same-week makeups depend on schedule availability and cannot be guaranteed.
What happens if I’m late or miss my class?
Running Late? Please notify your teacher as soon as possible so they know to wait for you. If we don’t hear from you, your teacher will wait for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes without notice, the class will be marked as canceled and counted as taken.
Missed Classes: If you are unable to attend and do not cancel at least 24 hours in advance, the class will be charged as usual.
Can I change my schedule for future weeks?
Absolutely! Just let us know at least one week before your next scheduled class. Please keep in mind that changes requested on short notice are subject to teacher availability and may not always be possible.
Will there be homework?
Your teacher may assign practice exercises or brief vocabulary research to review and discuss in your next class. However, homework assignments are always tailored to your personal goals, schedule, and learning style.
When can I take online classes?
Online classes are available from Monday to Friday, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Costa Rica time (GMT-6). If this timeframe doesn’t work for you, please contact us, and we’ll check whether your class time can be adjusted. Please note that classes are typically not available on weekends.
